Job Description

Clean Harbors seeks a skilled CDL Driver to safely transport hazardous and industrial waste to designated facilities. In this field-based role, you will operate commercial vehicles, perform pre/post-trip inspections, load and unload materials, and strictly follow DOT and company safety standards. You'll support emergency response, environmental cleanup, and industrial service projects while maintaining accurate logs and documentation. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL-class commercial vehicles to transport hazardous and industrial waste Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Load, secure, and unload materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations Maintain accurate driving logs, manifests, and DOT-required documentation Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures Support emergency spill response and environmental cleanup projects as needed Communicate with dispatch and project teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries Report equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance for repairs Required Skills CDL commercial driving Defensive driving DOT safety compliance Hazardous materials handling Tanker operation Vehicle inspection and maintenance Logbook and ELD usage Route planning Emergency response procedures PPE and safety protocol adherence
