Job Summary :
We are looking for a reliable Class A License Driver with at least two years of experience and a clean driving record. The role involves operating commercial vehicles, transporting cargo safely, and ensuring timely deliveries. This full-time position is scheduled during the day shift from 12 PM to 8:30 PM, with an hourly pay of $25. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo as needed, conducting vehicle inspections, following designated routes, and maintaining safety compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety to support efficient operations.
Responsibilities :
Operate commercial vehicles with a valid Class A license to transport goods safely and efficiently. Load and unload trucks as required, handling cargo with care. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly. Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines to meet company standards. Maintain compliance with all transportation laws and safety regulations. Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed, demonstrating flexibility. Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and vehicle logs. Adhere to safety protocols at all times during operation.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience with a valid Class A license. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents. Experience handling heavy cargo and loaded trailers. Strong work ethic, responsibility, and reliability. Ability to load/offload trucks when necessary. Reliable transportation to work shifts. Excellent communication skills and attention to safety procedures.
