$22-$25 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications Position Summary Riverlea Care Solutions is seeking a safe, dependable, and professional Passenger Transportation Driver to operate our Ford E-450 wheelchair-accessible passenger van . The driver will transport up to 12 passengers plus up to 2 wheelchair passengers to and from medical appointments, adult day programs, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation facilities, and other approved destinations. The driver is responsible for providing safe, courteous, and reliable transportation while ensuring that all passengers and wheelchairs are properly secured. Responsibilities Safely operate a Ford E-450 wheelchair-accessible passenger van. Transport up to 12 passengers and 2 wheelchair passengers . Pick up and drop off passengers according to assigned schedules. Operate the wheelchair lift safely. Properly secure wheelchairs and passengers using the vehicle's restraint systems. Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and properly maintained. Follow assigned routes and transportation schedules. Drive defensively and comply with Massachusetts traffic laws and company policies. Communicate professionally with passengers, caregivers, families, medical facilities, and Riverlea staff. Report accidents, vehicle problems, passenger incidents, or delays immediately. Maintain accurate trip logs and required transportation documentation. Maintain passenger confidentiality and professional boundaries. Provide respectful and compassionate service to elderly, disabled, and mobility-impaired passengers. Requirements Valid Massachusetts driver's license. Minimum 3 years of driving experience. Acceptable driving record. Ability to pass required background checks and employment screening. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to safely operate a wheelchair lift and passenger restraint equipment. Ability to assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle. Good communication and customer-service skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Preferred Experience NEMT or medical transportation experience. Paratransit experience. Experience transporting wheelchair passengers. Experience operating a large passenger van. CPR/First Aid certification. Experience working with elderly or disabled passengers. Physical Requirements The driver must be able to: Safely enter and exit the E-450 repeatedly. Operate the wheelchair lift. Secure and release wheelchair restraints. Assist passengers as needed. Perform vehicle inspections. Load and unload light passenger belongings and mobility equipment. Sit and drive for extended periods.

Schedule Transportation services may include:

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
