May be available/required based on business needs About the Role We are looking for an experienced CDL Class B Delivery Driver to join our team in a temp-to-perm opportunity . This is a local delivery position operating an automatic box truck and delivering plumbing and building supplies, including pipes, toilets, tubs, fixtures, and related materials to customers. The role is approximately 90% driving and 10% warehouse support , with deliveries generally within the local area and the furthest routes approximately one hour away . Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B automatic box truck on local delivery routes. Deliver plumbing supplies, pipes, toilets, tubs, fixtures, and other materials to customer locations. Load, unload, and assist with unloading materials as needed. Ensure all materials are properly secured and within applicable weight limits. Verify delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures. Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries. Maintain communication with the supervisor throughout the workday . Pick up customer returns and local purchase orders as assigned. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Comply with all DOT regulations and safety requirements . Report vehicle issues, accidents, violations, or defects promptly. Assist with warehouse duties when needed, including rearranging loads and cleaning the truck bed. Use a smartphone for route tracking and delivery-related activities. Work overtime when required based on business needs. Required Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or higher. Must have held a CDL for a minimum of one year . At least 1 year of experience driving the same class of vehicle required for this position. Must hold the required state-issued Non-Excepted Interstate self-certification designation and be able to provide proof. Strong commitment to safe driving and DOT compliance. Good customer service and communication skills. Comfortable using a smartphone for route tracking and work-related applications. Must be comfortable operating vehicles equipped with onboard cameras . Ability and willingness to assist with loading/unloading and warehouse activities. Ability to work the 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM Monday-Friday schedule . Preferred Qualification Forklift experience is helpful and preferred, but not required. Why This Opportunity?
