Tighe Logistics Group is looking for a new candidate for its team. The candidate in this position is responsible for the efficient transportation of product to customers in a matter and condition that meets customer and company requirements. Also responsible for the timely reporting of overages, shortages, damages and delays.

• Domicile out of Mansfield, MA
• Shift schedule: 12AM start Sunday-Thursday(OT available)
• Pay rate: $29.

87 Responsibilities include:

Deliveries:

Transport and deliver goods in accordance with the schedule as determined by Dispatcher. Assist in unloading freight as required. Properly secure loads and ensure loads are within weight limits

Quality:

Verify count and condition of goods loaded and unloaded. Make reports of overages, shortages and breakage/damage as needed. Maintain daily driver logs. Complete vehicle inspection reports.

Driving:

Operate the truck/trailer units in a safe manner. Report any vehicle problems and defects to Transportation Manager. Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and other standards and regulations. Maintain a good driving record.

Relationships:

Ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a courteous and professional manner.

Experience:

Prefer 3+ years of verifiable experience

Knowledge/Skills:

Valid Class "A" Driver's license and skill in the safe operation of different types of trucks. DOT physical certification approval and a yearly physical are necessary
