In this role, you will operate tri-axle trucks equipped for hauling various types of material, and paving equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and effective travel from the yard to asphalt plant. From the plant to job sites, then loading and unloading the equipment. If you thrive on delivering excellence and maintaining safety standards, this is the perfect role for you! Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A licensed tri-axle trucks from job sites across multiple locations. Load and unload paving equipment using proper manual handling techniques, ensuring safety and compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, including health card, vehicle inspections, and documentation requirements. Perform routine truck inspections before and after trips; report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating tri-axle trucks required. Proven experience in commercial truck driving with asphalt paving company. Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures. Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, and safety protocols related to commercial trucking.
