Class A Flatbed Driver:

Local Stone Delivery, Home Every Night Stoughton, MA 02072 | Full-Time If you know how to handle stone, take pride in a well-secured load, and care about doing the job safely, we'd like to talk to you. This is a local, home-daily driving position. You'll run flatbed deliveries out of our Stoughton yard, work around 40 hours a week, and be home every night. No overnights, no long-hauls.

What the job looks like:

You'll drive an automatic day cab on local routes and deliver stone to job sites, yards, and customers. Stones are heavy, awkward, and unforgiving, so we take loading, securement, and unloading seriously. Forklifts handle the heavy lifting, but you'll be the one making sure every load is balanced, strapped, and delivered without damage.

A typical day includes:

Pre-trip inspection before you roll out Loading and securing stone with forklift assistance, using straps, chains, and edge protection Driving local routes and delivering to job sites Unloading carefully and professionally at each stop Keeping accurate logs and staying in touch with dispatch Post-trip inspection at the end of the day Who we're looking for We want someone who sees safety as part of doing the job right. Someone who checks twice, won't cut corners, and speaks up when something doesn't look right. We are looking for the team member who will take the extra time to check for safety rather than risk a load or a person. We also value people who care about training. That means staying sharp yourself and being willing to share what you know with newer drivers. The best drivers we've had are the ones who made the people around them better. Requirements Class A CDL At least 2 years of driving experience( Not a deal breaker) Experience with handling stone, pavers, block, or similar heavy flatbed freight Clean MVR Able to handle physical work in all kinds of weather Must pass a drug test and background check Pay & Benefits Weekly Pay Health, dental, and vision insurance (after 90 days) 401(k) (after 90 days) Paid time off (after 90 days)
