What You'll Do:

Drive company vehicles to transport patients to medical appointments Pick up company vehicle from our Taunton office at start of shift Safely transport elderly and disabled patients to medical appointments (dialysis, doctor visits, physical therapy) Assist patients with entering and exiting vehicles Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout transport Maintain accurate trip documentation Communicate professionally with patients, families, and medical facilities Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

Requirements Must Have:

Age 19 or older Valid Massachusetts driver's license Clean driving record (no major violations in past 5 years) 3+ years of driving experience Ability to commute to Taunton office to pick up company vehicle Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening Physical ability to assist patients (lifting up to 50 lbs) Strong English communication skills

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience with elderly or disabled passengers Customer service background Transportation experience Experience with Wheel Chair vans, we can also train Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while driving Capability to assist passengers in and out of vehicles Ability to operate wheelchairs and mobility equipment Comfortable lifting and positioning wheelchair equipment Schedule Shifts available between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Flexible part-time and full-time schedules Weekend availability preferred but not required Typical shifts: 4-12 hours Benefits Paid training Professional development support Flexible scheduling Company vehicles provided (no mileage on your personal car) About Edgelife Health and Trasportation Edgelife Transportation is based in Taunton.
