2991423146-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Orica is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to support mining and quarrying operations in Templeton, MA. In this field-based role, you will safely transport explosives and related products to customer and blast sites, strictly adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Orica safety standards. You will conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, manage loading and unloading under rigorous procedures, maintain accurate delivery and compliance documentation, and coordinate with dispatch and site teams. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles to transport explosives and related materials to customer and site locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation Load and unload products following strict safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards and protocols Coordinate with dispatch, blasting teams, and site personnel to ensure on-time deliveries Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and compliance paperwork Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors Support site operations as needed, including basic material handling and staging Required Skills CDL Class B vehicle operation Defensive and safe driving practices DOT and HAZMAT regulatory compliance Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Load securement and material handling Documentation and logbook completion Route planning and time management Hazardous materials handling procedures Radio and dispatch communication Incident and safety reporting
