Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team for the weekend shift, and provide essential roadside assistance, vehicle recovery services, and transportation. In this role, you will operate tow trucks to safely transport vehicles in need. Your expertise in automotive transport, mechanical knowledge, and customer service will ensure efficient and professional service for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, skill, and positive attitude are paramount. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to recover and transport vehicles across diverse locations. Use automotive and mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle conditions and determine appropriate transport methods. Load, unload, and secure vehicles using specialized equipment such as flatbeds, winches, or other tools. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Manage conflict situations with tact and professionalism while maintaining safety standards at all times. Perform routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate logs of all vehicle details for record-keeping purposes. Experience Proven experience operating tow trucks with a valid driver's license and DOT medical card. Hands-on experience with flatbed towing, load securing, and automotive knowledge is highly desirable. Familiarity with manual transmissions and the operation of winches and towing tools is a plus. Strong customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle challenging situations professionally. Prior experience in automotive diagnostics or mechanic work enhances your ability to assess vehicle issues effectively.
