Responsibilities Safely operate a tractor-trailer to collect and transport waste materials. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations. Load and unload refuse using mechanical knowledge of various truck types and equipment. Drive efficiently through designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and route logs for operational accountability. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily routes and address any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL A license. Mechanical knowledge of tractor-trailers. Strong ability to load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met. Physical capability for lifting at least 40lbs and manual handling tasks associated with waste hauling operations. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Excellent driving record, with experience in delivery or trash hauling roles preferred.
