About the

Role:

Operate a 36-foot day cab while hauling home-building supplies locally. Freight handling will involve the use of a Moffett forklift. This is a full-time, local day-shift position with home-daily routes and overtime opportunities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 4:30 a.m. start time. Reference #478411

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 36-foot day cab
• Haul and deliver home-building supplies
• Handle freight using a Moffett forklift
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Keep the truck and equipment clean and presentable
• Verify that all delivery and transportation paperwork is complete and accurate
• Follow all applicable company, customer, and transportation safety procedures
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled routes
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and site personnel

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of Class A driving experience
• Valid Class A commercial driver?s license and current medical card
• Valid hoisting license, or willingness to obtain one on behalf of the client
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• At least 22 years of age
• No DUI/DWI conviction within the past five years
• No more than two moving violations within the previous three years, or no more than one moving violation and one accident within the previous three years
• Safe driving record and commitment to transportation safety
• Ability to operate or learn to operate Moffett freight-handling equipment
• Ability to work an early-morning schedule and meet physical requirements associated with local deliveries
