This position is based out of Westport, MA. The candidate must be able to understand and operate a vacuum truck and different types of equipment necessary to perform the job duties efficiently. The job duties of the sweeper operator include (but are not limited to):

• Operating the vacuum truck to remove of sand/litter/debris from parking areas at each site
• Handpicking of litter & debris
• Using a handheld, gas powered blower to remove sand & debris from sidewalks and curbs
• Emptying trash receptacles & replacing liners at each site
• Completing your route slip during your shift
• Completing your Vehicle Pre-Inspection Form before each shift
• Cleaning your sweeper after each shift
• Emptying the hopper of your sweeper (into the dumpster located at the shop) after each shift
• Reporting any malfunctions/operational issues to the mechanic after each shift

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Must pass a DOT physical

• 3rd Shift
• Weekdays / Weekends (Year Round)
