Class A CDL Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Duties Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to various locations. Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling of materials. Follow designated routes and schedules for timely deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including bills of lading and delivery receipts. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered during transport. Operate manual transmission vehicles as required. Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). • Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems. Ability to handle freight efficiently, including loading and unloading procedures. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
