Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while safely and efficiently towing and transporting vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to service calls and safely operate a tow truck to transport vehicles
• Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using proper techniques and equipment
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their vehicle needs
• Perform basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle issues
• Perform minor automotive repairs, such as changing tires or jump-starting vehicles
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, including mileage, fuel usage, and any additional services provided
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating the tow truck
• Handle conflicts or difficult situations with professionalism and diplomacy
• Releasing vehicles to customers

Skills:

• Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with customers in various situations
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive repair techniques
• Ability to load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using proper techniques and equipment
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle issues
• Knowledge of tow truck operations, including flatbed towing
• Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations with professionalism and diplomacy

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 22 years old
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening We are looking for a Full Time day/on-call driver.

who: Provide exceptional customer service to our Members in need of emergency mechanical help including jump starts, lockouts, towing and other services. Provide prompt and accurate service to private properties, roadside customers, mechanic shops, dealerships, and Annapolis City Police Department. Make sound decisions concerning the prioritization of service (e.g., safety concern, weather, traffic) and policy exceptions (e.g., member not with vehicle, use of agent). Look for ways to accommodate customers in all situations. Ensure quality and high-performance standards are achieved. Do you have what it takes? Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and the ability to operate passenger vehicles and trucks with automatic and manual transmissions. CDL is not required. Some experience driving and operating a rollback/wrecker truck. Three (3) years' experience in the towing industry. Ability to pass a physical examination required by the Department of Transportation and maintain the certificate (DOT Card) for the duration of employment in the position. Satisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug and motor vehicle screening. Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds; bend, kneel, and balance to inspect vehicles. Must be available for rotating nights and weekends. We offer our
