We are currently hiring drivers to drive company box trucks out of Beltsville, MD and deliver product to restaurants within the Maryland/DC/Virginia markets. This is a

PHYSICAL

delivery position rather than just driving- you will load/unload your own truck throughout the day. You will deliver daily on your assigned route. Shift starts at 5:00am and runs until finished (generally finished by 2pm), Monday through Friday. The route starts and ends at the warehouse in Beltsville, MD. What does a Delivery Driver do? Drives a box truck to deliver parcels to restaurants on an assigned route Commonly works Monday - Friday Typical working days are from 5am until 2pm Follows strict safety standards on and off the road Interacts with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner Uses handheld technology to manage the delivery process What are the basic requirements? Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid standard drivers license Must be able to operate and navigate a 16' Box Truck Must be able to move parcels up to 100 lbs. Must be able to easily get in and out of the box truck Must have a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Card) Must have a very safe driving record Must read, write, and speak English What are the benefits?
