Job Description
Class B CDL Driver
Your Responsibilities
Currently hiring a CDL Driver to deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to our customer locations.
- Safely operate a tractor trailer combination locally.
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physically loading/unloading of trucks.
- Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.
- Willingness to assist in the warehouse as needed.
- Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
- Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned. Your Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
- Ability to meet State and Federal transportation and medical requirements to operate a three (3) axle vehicle.
THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Travel Requirements Seventy-five (75%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder of work activities is performed outdoors and in a warehouse setting. May require overnight travel. Physical Requirements This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.
