Job Description
Motor Equipment Operator I - Class B The City of College Park's Department of Public Works has an immediate opening for Motor Equipment Operator I. This position requires a Class B CDL driver's license with endorsements. This position requires the person to occasionally perform and assist with refuse, recycle, and leaf collection and perform additional manual labor duties. The driver should be familiar with operating a 32-cubic-yard solid waste packer truck, snowplow dump truck, and other specialized equipment. This position is considered essential in emergencies and severe weather events. Incumbents must be willing and able to work long shifts in adverse conditions. All essential personnel may be required to report for duty on short notice or remain on duty for longer than the regular shift.
