DESCRIPTION
•Transport to and from our Adult Day Services Center and Assist with daily activities in the center.
QUALIFICATIONS
A license to drive (Type C or D) in the state of Maryland with no points Must have knowledge of the State of Maryland Safe Driving Regulations with understanding and willingness to comply. CPR and First Aid Certifications, with renew as needed . Must be at least 25 years of age.

Director of Adult Day Services
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Pick up Adult Day Care participants from the front door of their homes and escort them safely to the vehicle, ensuring that the participant is seated and prop erly buckled in. 2. Safely operate the wheelchair lift on bus (as necessary) and use seat belt s and tie downs to properly secure wheelchair participants. 3. Drive to the day care center on a scheduled basis after picking up the participants. 4. Drive the participants back to their homes, escorting them to their front door and ensuring that someone from the home receives them (unless otherwise noted). 5. Complete pre-trip and weekly vehicle checks. Report any maintenance problems to the Director for proper follow-up and resolution. 6. Be physically able to assist clients on and off the vehicles or lift s as necessary. 7. Drive participants to and from appointment s as needed 8. Drive participants to an d from field trips and supervise them when on outings. 9. Know location s of fire extinguisher s, fire exits and policies regarding fire, emergencies, and disasters. 10. Be available to work a split shift for morning and afternoon transport. 11. Complete all required in-services in accordance with COMAR regulation s for adult day care programs 12. Any other duties as assigned by the Director or Designee.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Be free from tuberculosis in a communicable form in accordance with Guidelines for Preventing the Transmission of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis in Health-Care Facilities (that is, tuberculin skin testing (TST) upon hire or annual sign/symptom screen for those individuals with previous positive TST). Be immune to measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella as evidenced by history of disease or vaccination. Have no criminal convictions or other criminal history that indicates behavior that is potentially harmful to Participants, documented through either a criminal history records check or a criminal background check completed within 1 month before employment.
