  • $135 a day 5 hours ago Qualifications Route driving Passenger loading and unloading procedures Customer service High school diploma or GED Driver's License Passenger assistance GPS navigation Full Job Description NEMT is currently seeking full-time non-emergency medical transportation drivers who are compassionate, caring, reliable, and responsible.
Drivers will transport members to and from medical appointments (hospital, dialysis center, physical therapy, cancer treatment center, etc.) in a safe, secure and professional manner. Job Responsibilities Transporting clients to appointments, treatments, and dialysis utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner. Effectively communicate with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions. Maintain a professional image and attitude in regard to clients and coworkers. Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Assist clients as needed to safely enter and exit the vehicle and to and from their destinations. Understand and operate GPS on a cell phone. Understand and utilize the transportation app provided. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
NO FELONIES
Valid Driver's License Good Driving Record Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test Must have a clean background Driver Qualifications Must have previous customer service experience with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring, and timely manner Must possess a valid Drivers License and NOT been suspended. Must be available to work varying hours M-F between 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM Must have a stable work history with a track record of being reliable and ON-TIME Must have a high school diploma or GED Must be able to assist members onto and off the vehicle Must be able to communicate with the dispatcher throughout the day
Transport Driver Other Duties:
  • Safely and efficiently transport passengers to their destinations
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
