Job Description

Job Overview Jollay Masonry is actively seeking an experienced, highly motivated Shop Specialist / Driver for employment across our DMV locations. This role involves a combination of driving, warehouse/shop support, and general maintenance duties. The ideal candidate embraces and demonstrates the core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Performance, and Hard Work. This individual is comfortable with customers as well as the team and understands the importance of clarity, transparency, and honesty in all their dealings. This person is dependable, and always on time, is a great team player and always looking for ways to help and support the team. They understand the importance of company guidelines and being detail oriented. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Safely operate a 16-foot flatbed truck for deliveries and pickups
  • Operate a forklift (training/certification preferred or willingness to learn)
  • Stock and restock shop inventory, including PPE and small tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment at the end of each workday
  • Assist with general shop duties as needed
  • Basic knowledge of small engine repair (e.g., gasoline-powered equipment)
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to expand skillset
  • Maintain a record of deliveries and update running inventory Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a forklift
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to be trained
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize equipment and supplies
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Basic understanding and ability to use computers/tablets, apps, and programs as needed
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen Compensation and Benefits The compensation is an Hourly wage based on experience and qualifications, with annual earnings typically ranging from $55,000 - $70,000 and may include overtime opportunities.
