only job, 35%. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely. Perform basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before towing. Secure vehicles on tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Conduct safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and proper mechanical procedures. Assist with vehicle recovery towing operations using specialized equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during roadside assistance or vehicle pickup. Follow all safety guidelines related to cargo securement, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, and safe driving practices under manual transmission conditions. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving or car towing with a valid driver's license suitable for heavy-duty vehicles. Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including minor repairs and basic troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and automotive repair procedures is highly desirable. Experience with cargo securement protocols, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, and safe vehicle loading techniques. Ability to manage conflict professionally when dealing with distressed customers or challenging situations. Knowledge of flatbed operations, vehicle recovery towing methods, and the use of forklifts or similar equipment is a plus. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmissions preferred.
