Job Description:
We are seeking an Driver with a CDL Class B License to operate dump trucks for hauling materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and construction debris. This position requires a reliable and safety-conscious individual who will be responsible for transporting materials to job sites while ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of the truck.Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a dump truck to deliver and pick up materials, including dirt, sand, gravel, and debris.
- Ensure the timely transport of materials to and from job sites.
- Load and unload materials as needed (assist with loading when required).
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure safety and functionality.
- Perform basic truck maintenance and report any issues to management.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and any relevant paperwork.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and job site managers regarding schedules and any changes.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class B License required.
- At least 2 years of experience driving dump trucks.
- Must be able to operate both manual and automatic dump trucks.
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and minor truck maintenance.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations, local traffic laws, and construction site rules.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
