401(k) 401(k) matching Company parties Competitive salary Dental insurance Free uniforms Health insurance Paid time off Driver / Laboratory Equipment Mover LRS - Laboratory Relocation Specialists Baltimore, Maryland Area Full-Time | $22.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience Join the LRS Team LRS is looking for a dependable, professional Driver / Laboratory Equipment Mover to join our growing team. This is not a traditional delivery-driver position. Our drivers are an important part of our equipment relocation crews and help safely transport and move valuable laboratory and scientific equipment for universities, hospitals, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies, research facilities, and other organizations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, takes care of company equipment, and understands the importance of providing professional service to our customers. Previous laboratory equipment experience is not required. LRS will train the right candidate. Compensation $22.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience Candidates with previous box-truck, moving, equipment-handling, delivery, logistics, or similar experience may qualify for the higher end of the pay range. Responsibilities Safely operate LRS company trucks and vehicles. Transport laboratory and scientific equipment between customer locations. Assist with loading and unloading equipment. Help move freezers, refrigerators, centrifuges, biosafety cabinets, laboratory instruments, and other scientific equipment. Properly secure equipment for transportation. Use liftgates, pallet jacks, dollies, moving straps, ramps, and other material-handling equipment. Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain clean and professional company vehicles. Protect customer equipment, facilities, floors, walls, elevators, and doorways while performing moves. Follow all LRS safety procedures and customer site requirements. Communicate professionally with customers and other LRS employees. Complete required paperwork and documentation.
