Machado Construction Co. Inc., is a family owned and operated business located in Halethorpe, MD. 3-5 years of experience driving a truck with GVW of 80,000 lbs is required.Duties:
Follow procedures to ensure truck and trailer are safe to operate. Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance as required. Check loads to ensure product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner. Keep equipment in a like new condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies. Maintain contact with supervisor to receive and transmit delivery instructions. Must be able to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors and management. Complete all forms, tickets and required paperwork in a timely manner. May perform other duties as assigned. Follow all company policies and procedures. Requirements- Must obtain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Must be punctual and have good time management skills.
- Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to understand and follow written and/or oral instructions.
- Must provide DOT paperwork.
- Must be able to hook up a trailer attachment as well as load/unload equipment.
Schedule:
- About 40-60 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed.
Salary:
- $27-$29 based on experience.
