Job Description

Job Overview Halethorpe Logistics Inc. is a growing and expanding Fedex contractor that is expanding to new areas including express deliveries. We are seeking reliable and motivated experienced and new drivers to join our team. Express delivery experience is a plus. This position pays weekly! Our delivery areas will include Finksburg, Manchester, Hampstead and Reisterstown. We currently have 2 work schedules available. We have Sunday thru Friday and we have Monday thru Saturday. We ask that when you apply you let us know which would work better for you. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including stepvans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring that items are secured and protected during transit. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Provide on time deliveries and pickups as required. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Perform accurate timely scanning on all deliveries. Requirements Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Work is full time, 6 days a week . Your schedule will depend on what operations needs are in regards to route and days of week. There are also some positions available for part time, Friday thru Sunday, Saturday and Sunday or Saturday thru Monday. We operate 7 days a week. Valid driver's license (non-provisional) with a clean driving record; experience driving vans or box trucks is a plus. Must be 21 years or older. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Pass an extensive background check, MVA check and drug screen/DOT physical.
Pay:
$175.00 - $225.00 per day
