Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. The Truck Driver will operate various types of trucks, including flatbed, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers. Responsibilities Safely operate a truck to transport freight to designated locations. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in the training of new drivers when required. Skills Proficient in truck driving with experience operating various types of vehicles including flatbed, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers. Ability to load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to trucking operations. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently with flexible hours while also being a team player.
