Job Overview Our team is looking for a reliable and safety-focused CDL A with experience in Dump trailers to join our growing transportation operation serving customers throughout the Maryland area. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to safely transport agricultural waste, organic materials, construction materials, and other approved loads to designated facilities, job sites, and disposal locations. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A or Class B dump trailer in compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations Transport agricultural waste, organic materials, dirt, gravel, mulch, construction debris, and other approved materials Safely load, transport, and unload materials at farms, facilities, job sites, landfills, transfer stations, and other designated locations Operate hydraulic dump systems and properly raise/lower the dump body during loading and unloading Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns promptly Secure and inspect loads to ensure materials remain safely contained during transportation Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules while maintaining efficient turnaround times Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, facility personnel, and job-site personnel Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection reports, delivery documentation, and other required records Keep the truck clean and in good operating condition Follow all applicable DOT, OSHA, environmental, and company safety requirements Report accidents, incidents, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions immediately Provide professional customer service and represent the company positively at all times Experience & Qualifications Valid CDL Class A , as required for the assigned equipment Clean and acceptable driving record Previous dump truck, construction, waste hauling, agricultural hauling, or heavy-duty trucking experience preferred Experience operating hydraulic dump equipment strongly preferred Knowledge of Maryland roads, facilities, landfills, farms, and construction areas is a plus Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle in varying weather and road conditions Ability to perform required vehicle inspections and identify basic mechanical issues Strong understanding of DOT regulations and commercial driving safety Dependable attendance and punctuality Professional communication and customer-service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to pass applicable DOT requirements, including drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Primarily local and regional routes throughout Maryland Home daily Daytime and/or early morning schedules depending on customer and facility requirements Work may involve farms, construction sites, waste facilities, transfer stations, and other commercial locations Outdoor work in varying weather conditions What We're Looking For We are looking for drivers who take safety, reliability, and professionalism seriously.
