We are looking for a professional, safety-minded Light-Duty Tow Truck Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing essential roadside assistance and towing services for passenger vehicles, SUVs, and light trucks. Whether it's a flat tire, a dead battery, or recovering a vehicle after an accident, your goal is to provide efficient, courteous, and safe service to our customers.

• Key Responsibilities

•

Roadside Assistance & Towing:

Safely operate a light-duty flatbed or wrecker to transport cars, SUVs, and light trucks. Perform lockouts, jumpstarts, fuel deliveries, and tire changes.

Vehicle Recovery:

Safe recovery of vehicles involved in minor or major accidents, witch-outs, or breakdowns.

Safety First:

Correctly secure vehicles to the tow truck using straps, chains, and blocks according to industry standards and company protocols.

Customer Service:

Act as a calm, professional, and reassuring presence for customers who may be stressed or stranded.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform daily pre-trip inspections of your assigned truck, ensuring all equipment, fluids, and tools are in top working order.

Documentation:

Complete digital or paper dispatch logs, service tickets, and damage inspection reports accurately.

• Qualifications & Requirements

•

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of professional driving or towing experience preferred (will train the right candidate).

License:

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. CDL is NOT required. Must have current DOT Medical Card or can get one upon being hired.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat).

Background:

Must pass a standard background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, basic map/GPS navigation, and a problem-solving mindset.
