1099 Medical Courier Driver - Independent Contractor Join our dynamic team as a Driver- Independent Contractor and take charge of delivering exceptional transportation services across diverse routes. PromptCare Logistix LLC is recruiting reliable 1099 Independent Contractor Medical Courier Drivers for anticipated government healthcare routes throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia . Drivers will use their own vehicles to transport laboratory specimens, medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other healthcare materials between medical, laboratory, and government facilities.
Important:
This opportunity is contingent upon contract award . Selected applicants will join our pre-qualified driver network for future route assignments. Responsibilities Complete scheduled, STAT, and on-demand medical deliveries Maintain chain-of-custody and proof-of-delivery documentation Follow temperature-control and special-handling requirements Communicate delays or delivery issues promptly Safely and professionally handle healthcare shipments Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Current auto insurance and acceptable driving record Smartphone with GPS Strong reliability and communication skills Ability to pass applicable background/security screening Ability to obtain military/government facility access Willingness to complete required HIPAA, safety, medical courier, and HAZMAT training Medical courier, pharmacy, laboratory, healthcare logistics, or government delivery experience is preferred. Compensation 1099 Independent Contractor Short scheduled routes: $100-$175/route Standard daily routes: $200-$275/day STAT, extended, weekend, and multi-stop routes: Rate varies by assignment Final rates are provided before accepting an assignment. Routes and income are not guaranteed and are contingent upon contract award and client demand.
