AJ's Lawn & Landscape LLC is looking for a reliable, hardworking Landscape Lead / CDL-DOT Driver to join our growing team. Our biggest priority is finding someone who can legally and confidently drive our company trucks and trailers and take on additional responsibility in the field. If you have a DOT Medical Card, experience driving dump trucks/trailers, and a strong work ethic , you may be a great fit—even if you have never officially been a Landscape Foreman before. We are willing to train the right person and develop them into a Foreman/Lead. What You'll Do Drive company dump trucks, trailers, and other work vehicles Safely transport equipment, materials, debris, and landscaping products Lead and assist with daily landscape installation projects Help coordinate the crew and keep projects moving efficiently Perform landscape installations, planting, mulching, edging, and bed preparation Install sod and perform lawn renovations Assist with drainage, grading, and excavation projects Assist with patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape projects Operate skid steers, mini excavators, and other equipment Load and unload equipment and materials Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Communicate with management regarding job progress, materials, and issues Follow company safety procedures and maintain equipment properly Represent AJ's Lawn & Landscape professionally at customer properties What We're Looking For Most important: Valid driver's license DOT Medical Card strongly preferred Ability and willingness to drive company trucks and trailers Clean or acceptable driving record Dependable and reliable Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work Able to follow directions and take responsibility in the field Professional attitude and appearance Ability to work effectively as part of a team Experience Landscape experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. You do not need previous Foreman experience to apply. Experience with any of the following is a major plus: Dump trucks Trailers DOT-regulated vehicles Landscape construction Drainage installation Grading Sod installation Hardscaping Skid steers Mini excavators Other heavy equipment If you have the driving experience and work ethic but haven't been a Foreman before, don't let that stop you from applying.
