In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver freight efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will help us maintain our high standards of service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment while adhering to all safety and transportation regulations. Duties Safely operate box trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan and execute over-the-road (OTR) driving routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules Load and unload freight manually or with appropriate equipment, ensuring proper cargo handling and securement of hazardous materials or dangerous goods when applicable Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service throughout each interaction Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with DOT regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly Requirements Valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation, preferably with route driving expertise Knowledge of
FMCSA, DOT
regulations, hazard communication standards, and safety protocols for manual handling and truck loading/unloading Ability to navigate using GPS systems confidently across diverse routes including OTR routes Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks involved in load & unload activities Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with all federal and state transportation laws Join us as a Box Truck Driver where your skills drive success!
