GFL Environmental is seeking an Experienced Front Load Driver to safely operate front load trucks on established commercial routes. You'll collect, transport, and dump waste and recyclables, performing pre/post-trip inspections and following DOT and company safety standards. This role includes operating hydraulic controls, resolving basic customer issues on site, and completing required route and service documentation. You'll work closely with dispatch and teammates in a fast-paced, outdoor environment while supporting sustainable waste solutions for local communities. Responsibilities Safely operate front load collection trucks on assigned commercial routes Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs Collect, transport, and dump solid waste and recyclables per procedures Operate hydraulic loading and dumping systems safely and efficiently Follow DOT, company, and local safety and environmental regulations Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding route status and issues Provide basic on-site customer service and resolve routine concerns Complete required logs, tickets, and route documentation accurately Maintain clean, orderly vehicle and report incidents or hazards promptly Support team members and participate in safety meetings and training Required Skills Commercial driving (front load trucks) CDL operation and regulations Pre/post-trip vehicle inspection Hydraulic equipment operation Route navigation and time management Basic vehicle troubleshooting Safety and DOT compliance Waste and recycling material handling Digital logs and route documentation Customer service on commercial routes
