Job Description

We are hiring a dependable CDL-A local driver for daily-home-time delivery work across MI, IN, OH, and Canada. This position offers primarily no-touch freight, a Monday-Friday schedule, and local routes that keep drivers home daily. The work includes a combination of live unload and drop-and-hook deliveries, occasional layovers, rotating Saturdays, and possible yard-driver overtime when customer needs require it. Pay and earnings $27.00 per hour. Approximately $1,300 average gross pay per week. $50 for each Canada crossing. $25 per layover. Approximately 1,700-1,900 average weekly miles. Approximately 15 stops per week. Pay and workload may vary based on route assignments, miles, crossings, layovers, and customer demand. Schedule and home time Home daily on local routes. Typically Monday-Friday. Rotating Saturdays based on customer needs. Yard drivers must be available for possible Friday-night or Saturday overtime. Occasional layovers may occur. Loads and schedules may change based on production and customer requirements. Freight and deliveries No-touch freight. Live unload and drop-and-hook deliveries are both required. Approximately 15 stops per week. Approximately 1,700-1,900 weekly miles. Operating area MI, IN, OH, Canada. Local and cross-border dedicated routes. An enhanced license is required for Canadian border crossings. Equipment and technology Day-cab or sleeper tractor. 53-foot dry van trailers. No passengers allowed. Requirements Valid CDL-A. Enhanced license required for Canada-crossing assignments. Ability to safely operate a day cab or sleeper with a 53-foot dry van. Availability for rotating Saturdays. Yard-driver availability for Friday-night or Saturday overtime when needed.
