Job Description

Job Summary We are a growing Northern Michigan excavation company looking for a dependable, hardworking Class A Truck Driver to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for hauling materials and equipment to and from excavation and construction job sites throughout the area. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks and/or tractor-trailer combinations safely and efficiently Haul dirt, sand, gravel, stone and other construction materials Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites Load and unload materials as needed Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain and clean and safe truck Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures Communicate with the excavation crew and office regarding delivers and job-site needs Assist with general job-site duties when not driving Qualifications Valid Class A CDL preferred Clean driving record Previous dump truck, hauling, or construction experience preferred Ability to safely operate around heavy equipment and active construction sites Dependable and punctual Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Good communication skills Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time/Seasonal work Local work Steady hours during the busy construction season Work with a local, hardworking team Opportunities for overtime
