Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess towing needs Secure vehicles properly using cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Load and unload vehicles with precision, adhering to safety standards for vehicle mechanics and cargo handling Perform vehicle recovery towing in various conditions, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto the tow truck Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and managing conflicts professionally Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including shift reports, incident documentation, and vehicle details Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving and flatbed operations Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair, minor mechanical vehicle repairs, and basic vehicle troubleshooting Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques on tow trucks Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus but not required Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles Commitment to safety standards and adherence to traffic laws during all operations Embark on a career where your technical expertise meets active outdoor work!
