Ace Outdoor Services is hiring dependable team members for our upcoming winter snow season. We are seeking candidates for multiple positions within our Snow Operations Team, including: Snow Plow Drivers Snow & Heavy Equipment Operators Walk Crew Foremen Walk Crew Members You do not need commercial plowing experience to apply. During the screening and hiring process, we will evaluate your previous experience, equipment knowledge, driving qualifications, and skill level to determine the position that is the best fit for you. Experienced plow and equipment operators will complete a written plow assessment as part of the hiring process. What You'll Do Depending on your assigned position, responsibilities may include: Operate snow plow trucks, salt trucks, skid steers, loaders, or other snow equipment Clear and treat commercial parking lots, drive lanes, and designated areas Shovel and clear sidewalks, entrances, and walkways Operate snow blowers and other small snow-removal equipment Apply salt, ice melt, and other deicing materials Follow assigned routes, site instructions, and Snow Operations direction Follow all company safety procedures Report to work consistently and on time throughout snow events Winter Availability Snow does not operate on a set schedule. Candidates must be available to respond to winter weather events, which may include: Overnight hours Early mornings Weekends Holidays Extended or irregular shifts during major snow events Reliable attendance during snow events is critical to every position on our Snow Operations Team. Qualifications For All Snow Team Positions Reliable and punctual Strong ability to listen and follow directions Ability to work outdoors in winter weather conditions Ability to work flexible and irregular hours during snow events Reliable transportation to report to your assigned Ace Outdoor Services location Commitment to safe work practices Plow Drivers / Equipment Operators Commercial snow removal experience strongly preferred 2+ years of commercial plowing experience preferred for experienced operator placement Valid driver's license required for positions operating company vehicles Ability to safely operate assigned snow removal equipment Successful completion of Ace Outdoor Services' plow assessment when applicable Walk Crew Foremen Previous snow or outdoor maintenance experience preferred Valid driver's license required Ability to lead a crew and follow site-specific instructions Walk Crew Members Previous snow removal experience is preferred but not required Must be able to perform physical outdoor work in winter conditions Training will be provided for qualified candidates Compensation $20.00$33.00 per hour Starting pay and position placement are based on experience, demonstrated skill level, equipment knowledge, and assigned responsibilities. Additional bonus pay may be available.
