Your expertise in commercial truck driving and knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations will drive our success forward. Home evenings and weekends! Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, across designated routes while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries Transport flooring goods on local routes, maintaining safety protocols for goods when applicable. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks, checking for mechanical issues, load security, and compliance with FMCSA regulations. Document delivery details accurately, including mileage logs, delivery receipts, and incident reports. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route adjustments, delivery schedules, or unforeseen delays. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially route driving. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards for safe trucking practices. Strong navigation skills using GPS systems for over-the-road routes; excellent route planning abilities.
