Job Description:
1st shift schedule: Starts between 5:00 AM•7:00
AM Workweek:
Monday through Friday Shift length: 10-12 hour shifts Pay rate: $23•24 per hour (based on experience) Overtime policy: Straight pay after 40 hours (no time-and-a-half) Weekly hours: Approximately 50-55 hours per week
Job Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) Clean or acceptable driving record (MVR check) Must comply with
FMCSA/DOT
regulations (hours of service, logbooks, etc.) Previous truck driving experience (often preferred, NOT required) Strong knowledge of safety procedures and defensive driving Ability to load, secure, and inspect cargo Basic ability to use GPS/navigation and electronic logging devices (ELDs) Reliable attendance and ability to meet delivery schedules Ability to lift moderate weight (for tarping, securing freight, etc.) Good communication skills with dispatch and customers Willingness to work long hours, early mornings, or flexible routes depending on freight needs
Wage Range:
23.00•24.00 per hour
