Job Title:
CDL Class A Reefer Driver Location:
Coldwater, MI Pay:
Mileage Pay (Average 2,000-2,500 miles per week): $0.65 CPM
  • 5+ years of experience $0.64 CPM
  • 4+ years of experience $0.63 CPM
  • 3+ years of experience $0.62 CPM
  • 2+ years of experience $20 stop pay after the first stop $15/hour detention pay after 2 hours at delivery Performance bonuses up to $300 every 4 weeks which will be paid weekly (max $75 a week).
  • This is based on a monthly scorecard based on safety and other metrics.
They will receive $100 for a 70% scorecard, $200 for 80% and $300 for 90% for the month Paid orientation: $200 per day
Schedule:
Regional routes with overnight stays in the truck Home every Friday or Saturday (varies week to week) Minimum 34-hour home time each week If home Friday, typically depart Sunday If home Saturday, typically depart Monday Workweek may run Sunday through Saturday at the longest Start times vary and may be any time of day Dispatch provides schedules in advance
Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:
Transport refrigerated freight, including dairy, milk, and meat products Safely operate automatic transmission reefer trucks Pick up and deliver freight throughout the eastern United States Complete approximately 2-4 stops per load Ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies Maintain accurate trip and mileage records through dispatch Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Qualifications/Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A License required Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience required Experience operating refrigerated (reefer) equipment preferred Safe driving record Strong work ethic and willingness to be on the road 5 nights a week
Equipment & Additional Information:
Automatic transmission reefer trucks Fleet is no more than 4 years old No-touch freight Routes and customer stops can vary from week to week Orientation and onboarding conducted onsite in Massillon, OH New drivers spend part of the first day meeting the team, followed by 1-3 days training with an experienced local driver to learn key customers and company operations (typically shorter orientation for experienced drivers)
