Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely loading, securing, and unloading heavy equipment, job loads/materials to and from job locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver will operate different types of trucks, including, but not limited to tractor-trailers, lowboys, etc... ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Duties Drive and operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tankers. Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and delivery details. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Operate manual transmission vehicles as needed. Skills Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Ability to drive various types of trucks including flatbeds. Strong knowledge of load unloading procedures and freight handling, including heavy equipment. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles. Excellent navigation skills with a good understanding of road safety regulations. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and procedures. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety in all driving activities.
Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
