We truly do have the sweetest job! Summary As a Driver at CRUST, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of our delicious baked goods to our valued customers. This position is essential to our operations, contributing to our mission of providing the best baking experience while supporting our local community. Scheduled shift start times depend on the assigned route and can be as early 2:45 AM or as late as 4:30 AM. Delivering to Ann Arbor, Detroit and Flint areas, driver routes end prior to 10 AM most days. Weekend availability is required in order to be considered for this position. Why Choose us? Payroll treats every pay day (free bread or pastry) Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport baked goods to various locations. Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle. Assist in inventory management by reporting stock levels during deliveries. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience as a van driver or in commercial vehicle operation preferred. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Ability to manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
