Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated, team-building individual to fill a full-time Transportation Supervisor 2 position at our Averill Warehouse location in Flint. $20/ hour Monday-Friday 5:30 am to 2:00 pm _________________________________________________________________________________________ Essential duties and responsibilities: Assists in the direction of work to meet pickup and delivery schedules. Assumes dock area responsibilities in the absence of supervisor. Assists in training and evaluation of dock personnel Responsible for housekeeping of dock area, truck wells, and removal of trash. Monitors trash compactor. Ability to drive a 53 ft semi or box truck when needed. Monitors metal salvage. Adhere to all policies and procedures, maintaining a good attendance record. _________________________________________________________________________________________ Benefits ? High school diploma/GED required Valid Michigan Commercial driver's license with the endorsements required to drive a 53ft semi and box truck, along with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Clearinghouse License reference check. Logistics experience is preferred; management experience required Knowledge and experience with unions preferred Computer competencies, including MS Word and Excel, and a strong emphasis on safety are required.
