POSITION DESCRIPTIONA

(Rolloff) Driver-Solid Waste at SET Environmental is responsible to:

Operate vehicles in accordance with SET Safety Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act), DOT (Department of Transportation) as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal lawsPerform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipmentReport any unsafe situations or service-related issues to dispatchReport any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to dispatchReport service problems, blocked containers, or any potential safety hazardsReport all containers damaged and in need of repairCommunicate with dispatch to improve route production and communicate the best way to perform your dutiesCommunicate any customer requests with dispatchDeliver and return containers to a customer's property in a position that ensures the safe and proper operation of the containerEnsure driveway entrances, mailboxes, or other traffic thruways are not blockedFollow the route as assigned by dispatch and understand the customer's needsPerform other miscellaneous duties as necessary

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent, preferredClass B CDL with air brake endorsement, Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferredMinimum 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience in a tractor trailerAbility to speak, read, and write English sufficientlyMaintain Electronic driver's log on company provided smart phoneMust pass/maintain physical requirements including DOT medical cardValid driver's license with good record that meets SET insurance requirements SET Environmental is an equal employment opportunity employer which provides a drug-free workplace.
