Job Description

Truck Driver We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is willing to join our team. Poll Farms, Inc is a family-owned farm raising both hogs and grains. We currently sell around 50,000 hogs annually and row crop around 4000 acres between Allegan and Van Buren counties. Our hogs are born in Bangor, MI and are brought to the Hamilton area to raise up to selling weight. Our fleet is made up of pre-emission Freightliners and three Volvos which are on the road almost every day. Typical work schedule would be Monday thru Friday. Typically 10-12 hour days going to Logansport Indiana.
Main Duties:
Loading, hauling, and unloading of the market hogs. General truck and trailer cleaning and light maintenance Ensures that proper biosecurity protocols are followed at all times Ensures that documentation and records are accurate and complete Manages personal self-development to prepare for new responsibilities and challenges in an ever-changing environment
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL Pass DOT physical and maintain a medical card Dedicated, dependable, and self motivated Ability to meet physical requirements of walking and bending over in trailers Can tolerate dust and animals
