Job Summary Black Armor is hiring a full-time, seasonal CDL Driver to support our asphalt, concrete, and sealcoat operations across Oakland, Genesee, Lapeer, Holly, Pontiac, and Flint. This role is ideal for a driver with strong construction-site experience who can safely operate manual-transmission dump trucks and trucks similar to our C7500 sealcoat truck . We're a fast-moving, hands-on crew, and we're looking for someone dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work. Duties Safely operate manual & automatic-transmission trucks. Transport materials, equipment, and crew to job sites Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Assist with loading/unloading materials as needed Follow directions from the foreman and adjust to changing job-site conditions Maintain clean, organized equipment Support paving, concrete, and sealcoat crews when needed (labor, site prep, etc.) Represent Black Armor professionally on customer properties Requirements Valid CDL (A or B) Must be able to drive a manual transmission Experience operating dump trucks and similar construction vehicles Prior experience working in the construction industry (asphalt, concrete, sealcoat, excavation, or similar) Strong safety awareness and ability to follow DOT and company protocols Reliable transportation to Holly, MI Ability to work long days during peak season Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather Schedule Full-Time, Seasonal (April-November typical) Weekends as needed Hours vary based on weather and job load Overtime available during peak season About Black Armor Black Armor Asphalt & Concrete is a locally owned, hands-on paving and maintenance company serving Oakland, Genesee, Lapeer, Holly, Pontiac, and Flint.
