Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable CDL A Over-the-Road Driver to join our family-owned trucking company. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating trucks over long distances, typically for 2-3 weeks at a time. Responsibilities:

Operate commercial trucks safely over long distances according to DOT regulations and company policies. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding schedules, delays, or issues. Adhere to all safety standards and traffic laws. Maintain a clean driving record and uphold a professional attitude at all times.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Ability to be on the road for 2-3 weeks at a time reliably. Strong work ethic with responsibility and professionalism. Excellent communication skills. Commitment to safety and adherence to regulations. Previous over-the-road driving experience preferred.
