Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dock Worker to join our team in a fast-paced donation center environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading donations, ensuring that all goods are handled safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, walk, climb stairs, and some heavy lifting. This position does require working every Saturday during Spring and Summer, every other during Winter. Responsibilities
- Load and unload donations from vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment such as furnace, warehouse, and company truck to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals. Skills
- Proficient in heavy lifting techniques, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds or more.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
