(HPI), a private non-profit corporation, is one of the largest freestanding behavioral healthcare agencies in the area. HPI, accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Michigan, provides a broad array of mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention services to individuals of all ages.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The Driver shall have a high school education or its equivalent. He/she shall have a minimum of two years' related work experience and have the ability to accurately read maps and driving directions. The Driver shall possess a valid Michigan chauffeur's license with less than six current points, per Michigan law. This position will be assisting with pick ups/drop offs of clubhouse members to and from program Monday-Friday. (Driver/Patient transport)LOCATION

Technical:
Operate any and all company vehicles assigned in order to complete job assignments in a safe and appropriate manner. Regularly maintain and clean HPI vehicles. Operate vehicles in a safe and cautious manner at all times. Transport only designated Hegira Programs, Inc. patients. Ensure familiarity with metropolitan Detroit area roads. Ensure compliance with no smoking policy in HPI vehicles. Within 30 days of hire, participate in non-violent crisis intervention training. Participate in first aid and CPR training's as scheduled. Attend in-service training as directed. Maintain patient confidentiality per federal guidelines and the policy and procedures of Hegira Programs, Inc. Available for any additional driver assignments determined necessary by the Program Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedures Manuals of Hegira Programs, Inc.Physical Requirements:
Must have adequate visual acuity to interact with the Electronic Health Record System and accurately input data. Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is required.Job Type:
