Job Description - Class A Driver Title Class A Driver Summary The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings. We are looking for a full-time class A driver at our Midland, Michigan location. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our growing team. Responsibilities Local deliveries Transport materials to and from specified destinations Prepares receipts for load pickup Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery Loading and unloading truck materials when needed Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Class A License DOT Certification Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25lbs Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed Knowledge of PVF is a plus Work Setting Midland, Michigan Monday - Friday, day shift OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM No nights, holidays, or Sundays Benefits PTO, paid holidays, birthday off with pay and jump starts GM and Ford vehicle discount Medical, company pays 75% of premium along with a free medical wrap Free telemedicine with medical enrollment Dental Vision Life Insurance and AD&D Critical Illness and Accident insurance Short and Long Term Disability 401K program with a 25% match with no cap!
